Fossil begins rolling out the update of its smartwatches to Android 2.0

Fossil Q Founder

The release of the final version of Android Wear 2.0 has been worse than giving birth to a donkey. The guys from Google have shown how the intentions that they carry with this operating system for smartwatches do not seem to be very clear, or at least that is what they suggest. Android Wear 2.0 was presented last May, but it was not released in its final version until February of this year, a long period of time full of delays that the company claimed were motivated by problems with development…. Leaving aside the real reason for this delay, little by little more and more manufacturers are launching or about to launch this great update for all supported devices.

For now, the manufacturer Fossil has just announced via Twitter that the company has started the process of launching the update for all the company's smartwatches compatible with it, which are the following: Q Founder, Q Founder 2.0, Q Wander and Q Marshal. The deployment will begin with the first generation model, the Q Founder, but before the end of March, all the brand's compatible models will be able to enjoy Android Wear 2.0 and all the news it offers us.

TAG Heuer will be the next manufacturer to update its smartwatch in April TAG Heuer Connected, the first generation of its range of smartwatches, a range that was expanded yesterday with the presentation of the TAG Heuer Connect Modular, a device that with its different combinations offers us up to 500 different possibilities. Being a luxury brand, the starting price of this device may be higher than the original model, which is available for 1.350 euros.
