The main problem with this engine, especially for all kinds of physicists, is that, to work, the laws of physics must literally be broken.
China wants to test the EmDrive in space after successful tests in controlled environments.
Precisely the fact that the EmDrive is literally impossible for it to work, at least at a theoretical level, is the point on which practically all scientists agree, at least until now when, from China, they assure that they would have been able not only to build a functional prototype, but they are in a position to put it to the test in a ship that will soon plow through space. As a detail, tell you that thanks to the power of this engine a ship could go from Earth to Mars in just 70 days while current technology, the most modern and promising, manages to make this trip in 150 days.
This announcement has been made by the Dr. Chen Yue of the Chinese Academy of Space Technology and ensures that they have managed to test this engine successfully. The main problem that the community is encountering is that, although it is a statement that could revolutionize the world, the truth is that we only have Chen Yue's word, not a photo, nor more information about it.
