Google arrives in Cuba with the intention of improving its services

Google in Cuba

Cuba is opening up little by little to the outside world, little or nothing seems to have anything to do with the recent death of the Cuban leader. It is time to adapt to the society of the XNUMXst century and little by little the way in which Cuba connects with the world is changing. The first settler to arrive in the beautiful American country is Google, which is committed to improving the servers and internet services that it will offer there based on a new agreement. Little by little, large companies from all over the world will come to Cuba to change the way they were connecting until now thanks to the commercial opening.

And it is that until now, the data arrived from Cuba to the Google servers giving too many laps, even going through servers located in Venezuela, which was causing latency and slowness of the system in general that did not make Google attractive. In this way, Google's own CEO, Eric Schmidt, has gone to Cuba to sign a historic agreement (according to APNews) that will change the way Cubans use the services of the “Don´t Be Evil” company. North American companies have their eye on the neighboring country since Barak Obama made the first approaches.

Google has signed this agreement with Etecsa, which will considerably reduce the latency of the company's services. Etecsa will place its own servers in Cuba where it will store the cache and the relevant data, making the Internet service faster through search engines, something that will greatly benefit Cubans, at least those who have Internet access through it. moment and that surely, will be more and more. Hopefully this is nothing more than the beginning of a fantastic story of technological openness in the Cuban country.
