Google buys several of the best Twitter tools

Twitter

It has been a long time since we talked about what happens on Twitter, a service that, despite being one of the most famous on the planet, the truth is that it does not finish finding its niche in the market and especially the the right way to get your entire system monetized. Due precisely to this problem, many have been the leaders who have passed through their offices and who have finally left their high and well-paid positions.

With all this in mind, it should come as no surprise that, at the end of last year, the company announced that they were studying different purchase offers. Among the many companies that were rumored at the time that they might be interested, we find the almighty Google that, apparently, finally he would not have bought Twitter although he did much of the developer tools most important of the company.

Twitter sells much of its developer tools to Google.

As has been commented from Recode, apparently among these tools we find Fabric, a mobile application development suite that, during its presentation in 2014, was commented that it was the way in which Twitter wanted to regain the trust of all developers. This operation has been confirmed from the Fabric official blog where they announce that their entire team will now become part of the Developer Products Group of Google.

As expected, at least for now, the amount that Google has paid to Twitter to acquire these tools has not yet been announced where, although the most interesting is Fabric, the truth is that they have become part of its portfolio other important services like Crashlytics (bug reporting service), Digits (user identification), Answers (analytics app) and even Nuance (voice recognition service).
