Google Drive reduces the prices of its storage services and changes the name

Google Drive has become one of the most used platforms in the world, due to its link with Gmail and Google Photos. Google's cloud storage service offers us 15 GB of storage for free, a space that we can later expand if we want to give more use to the different services offered by the search giant.

If, as I mentioned above, we have become accustomed to using the Google Photos service, to always have a copy of our photographs in their original resolution, it is likely that at present, you already have a contracted storage plan. These plans have received a small price adjustment, so now we can enjoy more space with less money.

With the arrival of the new Google Drive design, the search giant has taken the opportunity to rename your storage service, so that it will begin to be called Google One in the coming months and incidentally, take advantage of the name change with the new design and incidentally expand the storage space that it offers us.

So far, we had at our disposal the option of hiring 100 GB for 1,99 euros per month, 1 TB for 9,99 euros per month, 2 TB for 19,99 euros per month ... With Google One, a new 200 GB storage space for 2,99 euros per month and for the same price that until now we had 1 TB, now we will enjoy 2 TB. All users who had contracted the 1 TB space they will see how in the next few days their storage space is expanded by one more TB.

At the moment the new pricing plans are not available but will do so soon. As we can on the Google blog in the coming months, all paid consumer Google Drive storage plans will be upgraded to Google One. This change does not affect business G Suite customers
