Google Home and Google Home Mini will land in Spain throughout 2018

Google is expanding its product marketing territory. As you know, the Mountain View company has in its catalog different smart speakers, the well-known Google Home line. It is currently sold in 9 countries. And although its availability will practically double it is difficult to overshadow the main competitor in this sector: Amazon and its Amazon Echo.

Google and its Assistant are one of the main players on the scene. Google is betting a lot on its virtual assistant and perhaps with everything it has announced in its Google I / O, the Internet giant is positioned as one of the best options in Artificial Intelligence. But let's be for the arrival of smart speakers.

Google Home and Home Mini

Google Home and Google Home Mini will be the products that we can enjoy in Spain and in 6 other countries. As the media has learned VentureBeat, Google intends to launch its range of speakers in Spain, Mexico, Korea, the Netherlands, Sweden, Norway and Denmark.

Now, as we told you at the beginning, Amazon and its smart speakers have a presence in 80 countries since last December. However, what can Google compete in today? Perhaps in the languages supported by your equipment. While Alexa - Amazon's virtual assistant - only understands different variants of English, Japanese and German, Google Assistant understands up to a total of 16 languages. Although it will not end here: it seems, the company's intentions are to reach a total of 30 languages before the end of this year 2018. Likewise, Google also confirmed that its Google Assistant is active on more than 500 million devices. So we will see how about the new functions that also arrive with Android P.

Now for the moment Google has not confirmed anything in this regard or given exact release dates in none of the seven new expansion markets. We assume that we will have more details when those dates approach.
