Many things can be said about Google, good and bad, but one of what we will never be able to accuse Google is of neglect when it comes to updating its applications. Almost every week the guys from Mountain View update their apps adding new functions and improvements, as well as some better ones in the user interface. The last application that has gone through this roller has been Google Maps, an update that will be available in a few hours for all users. This update offers us a new way of navigating the application so that finding the information we want is much easier than before.

Thanks to this new update, the new bottom bar it will show us traffic information in real time, ideal for when we are using our smartphone as a GPS to reach our destination. This bar will appear by sliding from bottom to top, it will also show us information about the shops or establishments according to our tastes that are open at that time, as well as nearby places recommended by users or emblematic or typical places of the city in which we are. .

By sliding the bar from bottom to top, Google will show us information in different categories: places, traffic conditions and public transport. In the category places you will find the nearby places along with a brief description, along with images and impressions of the users.
