The firm Honor, Huawei's second brand, is gradually managing to gain an important market share outside its country of origin, China, where it is one of the manufacturers that has been growing the most since its birth. A few days ago we showed you the Honor Magic, the latest model that the brand has presented with a spectacular design that tells us how the next terminals of the mother company, Huawei, will be. But before the Honor Magic, the Chinese company launched the Honor 8, a model that offers us spectacular features at a very contained price, 399 euros, which makes it an option to take into account if we want a high-end price just.

Four months after its launch, Honor just announced that the Honor 8 will be updated to Android 7.0 in the coming weeks, without specifying exactly at what point next month they will begin to deploy this highly anticipated update. This update that will come directly to the Over The Air (OTA) terminal will reach practically all the terminals together, since this model is not available through carriers.

Honor 8 Specifications

The customization layer with which this device came to market was EMUI 4.1, but with the arrival of Android 7.0, the guys from Honor too will deploy the corresponding update of this layer, reaching version 5.0
