The Chinese firm Honor, Huawei's second brand, has just officially presented the Honor Magic, a terminal that is now available for purchase in the Chinese market and with which wants to stand up to the top of the market with a curved design on all four sides, one for each side of the device, a concept very similar to Samsung's Edge model, which will offer us some mixed feelings for many users who are not used to this type of screens and finishes. The Honor Magic is Huawei's answer to the Xiaomi Mi Mix, a model that offers us an impressive screen ratio, although the final product is far from the renders that the company presented when it was announced.
The launch of the Honor Magic confirms that the current trend of manufacturers It leads the way of eliminating the side bezels of the terminals, something that will force the manufacturer of cases to squeeze their heads to be able to offer protection to these types of terminals without invading part of the screen.
Honor Magic Features
The Honor Magic offers us a 5,1-inch screen with QuadHD resolution and Super AMOLED technology. Inside this device we find the Kirin 950 processor, manufactured by Huawei, along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. At the moment it will hit the market with Android 6.0 (we do not know if it will be updated to Android 7), it has fast charging that in just 20 minutes offers us 70% battery, a 2.900 mAh battery. This device stands out in the photographic section, since it offers us four cameras, two 12 mpx rear cameras and another two 8 mpx front cameras.
Honor Magic price and availability
At the moment it seems that the Chinese company Honor will launch this terminal only in the Chinese market, at a U.S. dollar price 530. We do not know if Honor intends to launch this device in the rest of the countries where the company is currently also selling its terminals officially.
