When we get to install and run certain applications on our Windows operating system, some of the functions may be disabled, not being possible to use them until a paid license is acquired.
Next we will mention a few alternatives that we could use to try enable those options that are disabled although, some of them could have a certain number of functionality or compatibility with a few applications that we have installed in Windows.
Checkboxes that have been uninhabited in applications
So that you have a slight idea of what we are going to deal with in the future, we could suggest that you go to whatever application you are working with at the moment. If you have a trial version, you could see that the option that says "Save as" is uninhabited, this being a great disadvantage because we simply will not have the possibility of saving our project in a format other than the conventional one. The situation can be repeated in various fields and in different applications, this being the reason for this article.

As a first alternative we will mention this tool, which is portable and you can run and use it completely free at all times.
The first thing we recommend you do is that you run the application where you know well, that they exist certain functions that are blocked (those that are generally with a gray color). After that, run this tool with administrator permissions. At that moment, it will search among all the applications, which of all is the one that has blocked functions. If they have not been enabled, then we recommend you press with the left mouse button on the icon that has the shape of a «telescopic sight». The cursor will change shape and to which you have to take it to the function that is uninhabited.
This is another excellent alternative to use for the same purpose. Within its interface you will be able to admire certain options that will help you to enable buttons or options that are uninhabited in certain applications.
As in the previous alternative, if after pressing the button that would allow us (theoretically) to enable these functions there is no effect, then you can also use the icon at the top of these options.
If the tools we mentioned above do not work, we recommend using this alternative instead.
It works by itself, which means that you just need to run it with administrator permissions and that's it. You will be able to admire an icon that is housed in the «notification tray». You just have to go to the application where there are uninhabited options and admire, if they are already active.

We could almost assure you that this tool has a very similar working simplicity to what we mentioned above.
After you run it, you just have to press the button that says "Enable" and that's it, immediately all those options that could be disabled will now be shown as enabled. This means that the tool will work by itself and almost without user intervention.
As a last alternative to mention we will recommend this. Among many features proposed by its developer, this tool can be run even on Windows 8.
The interface has a minimalist design, where we will only have to press the button that says "Enable Disable" to enable or disable these locked buttons. You can also use the function key F6 although, if the same station used by another application, it is advisable to use the conventional method, that is, the mouse pointer.
The last tool that we have mentioned is highly effective and compatible with many applications, although it would always be good to try to try any of the other alternatives because, we could be lucky with some of them and their compatibility with the application with which we are currently working. .
