One such option is to delete.
Click on it and a small warning window will appear. Since Facebook reminds us that then, all the messages and content that have been sent in said conversation will be permanently deleted. Delete Facebook messages on Android and iOS
If we regularly use the app on Android or an iPhone, it is normal that we communicate with other people using the Messenger app. In fact, it is a requirement to be able to send messages to our Facebook contacts on an Android phone. For this reason, we have to use the Messenger app in this sense, in order to delete these messages. But the normal thing is that users have it already installed on their smartphone.

When we enter Messenger on Android or iOS, we already find the list of conversations we have had with other people. One of them is a kind of trash can icon, in red. We only have to click on said icon then, to delete said chat permanently. A warning window will then appear, in which the consequences are reported. Also, there is another way to delete these conversations on Facebook Messenger. As in the desktop version of the social network, you can enter the conversation itself. Although this process is somewhat more tedious. Once inside the chat, you have to click on the profile photo of the other person. It then takes us to a menu, in which we see information about the profile of that person in the app. Then, you have to click on the three upper vertical points.
Doing this brings up a small context menu. In it there are a series of options, one of which is to delete conversation. Therefore, you click on it, to delete said chat permanently.
