Windows 10 is the new version of the operating system for PC from the Redmond Microsoft company. After the revolution that Windows 8 brought about, which raised the ire of users by eliminating the start button (a bug fixed in the 8.1 update), Windows 10 will be a new revolution, since this time Microsoft has chosen to include the Best of Windows 7 and Windows 8 in a single version.
At the moment only the Technical Preview is available, which works excellent, at least in the two months that I have been testing it, it has not given me any problems. Windows 10, in addition to all the news that it includes, of which we have already informed you previously, brings us a new browser called Spartan that comes to replace the veteran Internet Explorer, whose life cycle seems to have come to an end.
The new browser is not included in the Technical Preview so we have to download it independently and at the moment it is only compatible with Windows 10, not with Windows 8 or 7. This new browser comes to try to stop the almost abusive dominance of Chrome and, to a lesser extent, Firefox. These browsers offer the possibility of adding extensions to facilitate the use and interaction with the browser.
In order to download this browser, we just have to go to Windows Update and look for available updates. The browser will appear automatically and we can download it to make use of the new browser that Microsoft claims is one of the fastest on the market. At the moment I have not had enough time to be able to test it thoroughly, but after I have been doing it for a while, I will be able to do a complete and in-depth review of Spartan, the browser-killer as the guys at Microsoft call it.
The expected date for the final appearance on the market of Windows 10 is in the month of June-July. All users who have a purchased version of Windows 7 or Windows 8.x installed will be able to update it completely free of charge during the first year. A very important decision of each to the rapid expansion of this new version of Windows 10.
