HTC is not making an Android Wear watch

HTC

In these days ago a rumor came up which showed an image that was related to a possible launch of the first smartwatch made by the Taiwanese company HTC. It has not been the first time that we have heard some news about this possibility, since this manufacturer is one of the few that has not yet dared to prepare one for the market.

It had to be an HTC executive who had to come to the fore to deny all related news with the manufacture of an Android smartwatch, pulling down that news that appeared in which an HTC smartwatch would possibly be seen in conjunction with Under Armor.

HTC has made it well said that they will not have an Android watch, at least momentarily. So we can leave this whole issue about the first smartwatch manufactured by the Taiwanese company for a long time, unless another piece of news appears that wants to have an impact, whether true or not.

The leaked image in which it was said that it was an under armor watch, or at least a partnership with HTC, it was a bit of an old prototype and nothing the company would be working on. The intentionality of the appearance of that image is unknown, so we will leave a small margin of doubt in which HTC could be playing a bit that we are, at the end of the day, talking about a possible smart watch.

The curious thing about the interview given to the HTC executive is that he himself maintains that right now Android Wear is not a commercial success, which makes some brands go olympically from putting their hands in the dough and investing money that will surely be wasted, unless version 2.0 manages to increase interest in this type of wearables.
