To offer more freedom of movement, the Taiwanese company plans to launch a new kit that works wirelessly, a kit that will be manufactured by TPCAST, and that mounts on top of the HTC Vive.

According to one of the heads of the virtual reality project of the Taiwanese company, this device is designed so that latency does not affect this device, a latency that is usually common in devices that transmit both image and sound wirelessly.
The battery of this kit will offer an approximate autonomy of an hour and a half, but as an accessory you can also buy another battery with a longer duration, which will offer us an extra autonomy. At the moment, no specific dates of availability have been announced but it is most likely that they will reach the market before the end of the year, in order to take advantage of the Christmas pull. The price of this wireless kit that allows us to enjoy the HTC Vive without cables will be 220 dollars, a price to which must be added the cost of the product, which is not cheap in itself.
