The Huawei P20 will not be presented in the framework of MWC 2018

In recent weeks we have seen it as the largest fair in the telecommunications sector, MWC has lost some of the major manufacturers along the way From the market. Last year Samsung did not present its flagship, which allowed both LG and Huawei to shine with their own light at the event.

However, this year, it seems that the tables have turned with the return of Samsung to introduce the Galaxy S9 and S9 + and the already announced losses of both LG and Huawei, firms that will not take advantage of the MWC framework to present their new terminals.

Huawei's next flagship is the P20 model, a terminal with which the Asian company wants remain an alternative to the greats, but he has preferred to move away from the MWC and will present it in an individual act. According to the images that have been leaked from the presentation of the Huawei P20, this model will be presented on March 27, practically a month after the presentation of the Galaxy S9 and S9 + and when the terminal is already available on the market, since presumably it will do so in mid-March, 15 days before the official presentation of the Huawei P20.

If Huawei had managed to enter the North American market, it is quite likely that the announcement would have been made in the United States, but having met with the refusal of the American operators due to pressure from the Trump government, Huawei has chosen Paris to present the successor to the Huawei P10, a terminal that was originally called P11, but probably for marketing reasons, it has changed its nomenclature in recent weeks.

The decision to delay the presentation of the P20 may imply that the Asian company is not very clear that the new terminal can be a real alternative to the Galaxy S9Otherwise, it would use the framework offered by the MWC to obtain a diffusion, which otherwise it will not get, no matter how much money you want to spend on advertising. For now, and to clear up any doubts, we will have to wait until next March 27 and see if Huawei has done its homework and has absolutely nothing to envy the next flagships of the Korean company Samsung.
