Hyperloop One takes a new step towards the transport of the future

Hyperloop One

It's been a long time since Elon Musk proposed that futuristic transportation concept capable of traveling incredible distances in just minutes. With the presentation of this idea, several companies in the United States began to work to make it a reality. One of these companies is Hyperloop One which not only announced in May of this year that it was going to begin testing its prototypes in the Nevada desert, but has now just taken a new step in its project by launching an official statement in which it tells us how Dubai will be the first destination to enjoy the company's services.

In the signed agreement, we find that Dubai will be the starting point of a hyperloop network that will link the main cities of the United Arab Emirates. At the moment the truth is that Hyperloop One only has a series of prototypes in development that are being tested in highly controlled environments, even so, the company dares to talk about how perfectly they can travel the distance between Dubai and Abu Dhabi in just 12 minutes, a quite surprising time if we consider that, by car or public transport, it takes about 1 hour and a half to 2 hours.

Dubai will become the first city to enjoy Hyperloop One services.

But here there is not everything since they also want to connect with Dubai through the system proposed by Hyperloop One other series of cities such as Muscat, where the journey is about five hours by car or one hour by plane, it will take place in just 27 minutes, Doha, we are talking about seven hours by car or one hour by plane, which will become 23 minutes while a trip to Riyadh, 9 hours by car, it can be done in just 48 minutes.
