ICON, the 3D printer company and New Story, will build houses for El Salvador

3D printing technology continues on its way despite the fact that nowadays there are not so many projects or news that appear on the network, due in part to its standardization. Today we know a really interesting news related to the manufacture of "things" in 3D, in this case of large things such as houses.

And it is that between the ICON company that manufactures 3D printers and New Story that it is an organization that has managed to change the lives of thousands of people in Latin America through a successful system of donations, will build houses with 3D printing in a community in El Salvador, in less than 24 hours and for less than $ 4.000 each.

This is the promotional video for this project which shows the reality of some countries about the construction of houses, it is best to watch the video:

Adding that this is not a new technology at all, but in it we see the intelligent use of it. With the Vulcan 3D printer, it is possible to build a home in less than 24 hours for those people who really need it and hope to have about 100 new houses by this year 2018. The problem is the financing of these houses and this is in line with the donation campaign carried out by New Story.

In short, what is being sought are investors who bet on this new construction option, who improve the software and hardware necessary for the constructions and contributions to move the necessary machinery to the region in which these houses have to be built. Starting all this costs money and it must also be added that the houses have to pass quality certifications against possible earthquakes and other local regulations.
