Intex Aqua Fish is out now; the first smartphone with Sailfish OS now available

Index Aqua Fish

In recent days we have talked a lot about the HTC Sailfish, the mobile that will come to the Google Nexus family, but we must remember that we used this name for something else long before the Google mobile. I am referring to Sailfish OS by Jolla. A mobile operating system that fell into oblivion after Jolla's corporate actions but has not died far from it.

Intex Aqua Fish is the first terminal we have on the market with Sailfish OS, a terminal that we can acquire from now on because it is on the market and that has modest hardware but more than enough to run Sailfish OS.

Intex Aqua Fish will sell for less than $ 100 in Indian stores

Intex Aqua Fish has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 processor, 2 Gb of ram and 16 Gb of internal storage. A five-inch screen with FullHD resolution and two cameras, 8 and 2 MP, accompany this terminal. All supported by a 2.600 mAh battery that will allow us to have enough autonomy for a day between charges (depending on the use we give it).

Intex AquaFish sold in India for $ 82, something interesting if we consider its hardware. Do not forget that Sailfish OS is capable of run native Android apps, although not all besides having a base in Linux that will allow to run certain applications on the desktop.

A model similar to Intex Aqua Fish will arrive in Russia where they don't trust Android much and are opting for alternative operating systems. Which makes us think that although this mobile does not have the latest hardware on the market, it will be a mobile quite sold and bought, at least by users who are looking for the basics and little else for the day-to-day with the mobile.
