Disney announced a few months ago that they are working on a new Star Wars trilogy. The new films of the saga are being a huge success worldwide, so it was something that the fans expected. But they also announced an additional project. An action series that will debut on the streaming service that Disney will release.
It is a new project and with which they seek to expand the Star Wars universe. In addition, the company has already announced the first signing of this new project. And it is a high-profile signing. Since it has been confirmed that Jon Favreau is going to be the one to write and produce the series.
Far it was known that the creators of Game of Thrones were going to be the writers of this series. So without a doubt the expectations towards it are high. But they were the only names that were known in relation to this project. Now, we can add one more name.
