Amazon has a new e-book reader. Your Kindle range increases, as does the size of the last version. The new reader has been baptized with the name of Kindle OasisIt will be available in 3 versions and, as a novelty, you can use it underwater.
The Kindle Oasis is an IPX8 certified reader. This results in you can use it underwater at a maximum depth of 2 meters and for 60 minutes. After this time, the company cannot assure you that the device continues to function correctly or that finally some water enters its circuits.
On the other hand, the Kindle Oasis increases its screen to 7 inches offering 300 dpi. Amazon says that with this increase and using the default font size, it gets 30% more words per page. In other words, a page turn reduction is achieved. In addition, you should not worry about nighttime readings, since this model has a backlight on its screen thanks to the use of 12 LEDs.
The Kindle Oasis is slim and its back is made of aluminum, giving it a more premium. On the other hand, you can find it in 3 versions: one with capacity of 8 GB and two of 32 GB. These last two will have one of them with a WiFi connection and the other combines WiFi with a 3G connection so that you can download the books at the time you want.
Along with the Kindle Oasis is also launched a new cover that, once placed on the eReader, can be used as a support to read more comfortably on a flat surface. The Kindle Oasis will go on sale on October 31, although it is now possible to reserve it in all its modalities - it is in the pre-sale phase.
The prices of the three versions are as follows: $249,99 for the 8 GB model; $279,99 for the 32 GB model with WiFi connection; Y $339,99 for the most equipped version: 32 GB of internal storage and WiFi + 3G connection.
