Having GPS on a smartphone means that at all times we can know the location in which we find ourselves as well as we can let any contact we have know, through apps like WhatsApp and that way of sharing the location so that that friend reaches our position.
This geolocation is one of the best qualities of another app launched by Google that aims to make any of our trusted contacts can request our exact position if we don't answer your call in five minutes. A special application called Trusted Contacts and that was launched by the big G just a few days ago.
Trusted Contacts is a new Google app, as was Allo 2 months ago, which allows you to share your location with your friends or family in all those situations in which emergencies could occur, such as a field trip in which any of those contacts can request our location at any time.
Once the app is installed, you must assign the status "trusted" to any of your friends and family that you have in your contact list. They will be able to see your status activity while you have recently moved and are online. If they request your location and you are unable to respond in a reasonable time, your location will be shared automatically and your relatives will be able to decide what to do to get to you in the shortest possible time or call an emergency telephone number.
This app is dedicated to special circumstances and to have greater security if a family member or friend needs us to be attentive to them. You will also have the option of change "trusted" contacts or share your location. Of course, the app needs GPS activation for it to work fully.
Security cannot be left to electronics. It is a contradiction in itself.
Daft is not about leaving safety in the hands of electronics. It's about ADDing layers of security.
More layers, sure, more success.
