LG would prepare to manufacture the flexible displays for Apple, Google and Microsoft

LG is in charge today of manufacturing a good handful of screens for mobile devices, televisions and other devices. In addition to this, it has its own division in charge of manufacturing smartphones and a good handful of other household appliances. But these days LG is making headlines for the responsibility of manufacturing flexible or curved screens of the next smartphones.

The firm is preparing for mass production of this type of curved OLED displays according to various leaks. The truth is that Apple, Google and Microsoft would be waiting for these screens and it is not known if for the following devices or for later, what is clear is that these three companies would be waiting for the arrival.

Several specialized media are talking about the possible design of these new flexible screens from LG and it seems that LG Display even has the prototype ready to be used on a test device. It must be made clear that the manufacture of this type of screens is much slower than the current flat screen process, but we are not wrong in thinking that once they launch into it, the production rate will increase to the point of being able to supply these to the various manufacturers.

Obviously if there is someone who has to be attentive to these movements it is Samsung, the South Koreans today are the ones who are up to date on this type of screens and if Apple and Goolge are for the task of manufacturing this type of screens with LG you have to worry. Obviously these are rumors and there is no official news of these movements, something that may not take long to be confirmed or denied, so we will wait to see where things move.
