McDonalds already tests with orders and payments through its application

The world of applications is almost limitless. Few companies or services lack a mobile application today, and it is that companies have realized that the easier it is to carry out the typical tasks of buying and selling through an application, the more money they end up obtaining. However, there are few applications that are used for anything beyond taking advantage of the offers, as is the case of Burger King or McDonald's applications that only allow us to see the menu and offer us considerable discounts. On the other hand we have the Telepizza application, which allows us to place orders both at home and to collect. This is what McDonald's wants, that is already testing an ordering and payment platform through its app.

That the North American fast food franchise is going through a bad time is an open secret, but according to Business Insider, the company intends to give a twist to the way we order in its "restaurants". The reality is that they were among the first to include panels in which you could place your own order without queuing and pay with a card, in Spain they have already been working for more than two years. However, it is time to go a step further so as not to be left behind from the competition.

The company that became famous serving hamburgers is testing this technology in some specific locations in the United States of America, however, it is expected to expand to Australia, Canada, France and the United Kingdom during this month of November. By 2018 they intend to have more than 25.000 stores compatible with this new order and payment system, and we would not be surprised if many of them were found in the most popular places in Spain.

Since 2015 McDonald's has been working on this technology, as its CEO, Steve Easterbrok, communicated last year, and which confirms the tests of the same in European territory.
