Microsoft downgrades Signature Edition machines after Linux issue

Windows Signature Edition

It seems that the controversy with the Gnu / Linux environments will eventually cost Microsoft itself money. It seems recently all Windows Signature Edition computers have seen a significant downgrade caused by the scandal between Lenovo and Gnu / Linux.

And although Microsoft has not officially confirmed or said anything about this reduction, the truth is that the fact that the discounts are applied to computers with this type of Windows and after the controversy with Gnu / Linux lovers.

What we have seen that between teams and discounted hardware no Lenovo equipment is offered, something that reveals the company itself and its hardware, although officially, according to Lenovo, the problem comes at the request of Microsoft itself, which demanded this type of lock.

Microsoft downgrades all Signature Edition computers with the exception of Lenovo computers

For its part, Microsoft has not recognized such a thing although it has said that the problem comes from a driver incompatibility with the hard drives used and hence the error in the Gnu / Linux installation. In any case, whether by Microsoft or Lenovo, Microsoft will pay the price and for the moment its hardware has to sell it cheaper than usual, although surely more than one will have taken an eye on these computers and on this Windows'so special'.

At the moment we know that this sale is for a limited time and it will only be done on the official Microsoft Store page, that is, this discount will not be applied in national stores, although they may have other discounts for the same equipment.

Personally, I believe that Microsoft's new interest in Gnu / Linux is true and that the Signature Edition certification has been a serious mistake for the company, hence the intention to get rid of all these computers with this version of Windows. However What will happen to it?

What Apple does not do, those of Microsoft do ... That is, Linux is becoming a problem for Microsoft ... curious strategy that gives bad press when they have most manufacturers eating out of hand ...
