Motorola, the screen of my Moto X has gone crazy

After a few weeks using my new and custom Motorola Moto X (you can watch our video review at Actualidad Gadget) I have to say that I am more than satisfied with the phone from Google and Motorola. Yet one day all of a sudden my smartphone decided to go crazy and the screen looked like it was possessed. The phone started to act on its own, as you can see in the top screenshot uploaded to Instagram, and there was no way to stop it. Investigating a little, we see that this is a somewhat frequent problem in phones manufactured by Motorola.

If the touch screen of your Motorola is doing strange things, here we bring you several solutions that will surely end the problem:

Cleaning

The most common problem is that the touchscreen sensors go haywire if we don't keep the screen clean. Clean the screen of your phone carefully and if you have any special liquid to clean touch screens of smartphones and tablets, use it. This is the solution that we found in dozens of forums and, incredibly, our Motorola Moto X started to perform better.

Software update

Make sure your Motorola Moto X is updated to the latest software version. The phone is only available, right now, for sale in the United States. All the operators in the country that market the terminal have already launched the software update that corrects several problems, including the quality of the photos taken with the phone's camera and the 'Touchless' controls.

Reset

If none of these options have worked, then we recommend that you backup all your information and reset the device to its factory settings.

These three alternatives should solve your problem if your mobile Motorola has not suffered a fall or has been in contact with liquids.

It happened to me with my moto g. Right now I have problems with him. It had become unusable, completely insane. It had a hard mica protector on which the nectar juice fell. The problem was solved by cleaning it but it has suddenly returned, although now less frequent. I do not know where the problem comes from, I dropped it but not hard and always with subprptector. It is almost new and what I just did is completely remove the mica and it seems to work. I hope that now the problem does not return since it is not always that it happens, it is inconsequential 🙁 greetings

I just bought a Moto G 4G and the same thing happens to me, at times it goes crazy. I have read that it is something quite common. I will try these solutions, to vr if it works out.

The same thing happens to me with a G4 Plus. Looking for information, it seems that it is a design defect or hardware selection. When the phone heats up the screen interprets it as pulsations. That can happen when loading it or demanding the hardware (the processor falls short and gets hot). For this reason, some have found the pseudo solution of lowering the brightness of the screen, which would reduce the heat inside the device.
