Netflix, Amazon and HBO sweep Golden Globe nominations

Television as we knew it is dying. Many people increasingly abandon content by time slots and only use the standard television broadcast for certain live content or to watch sporting events. On the other hand, the production of content on demand is booming, and that is no less than 70% of the nominations for the Golden Globes are being taken by the Netflix, Amazon and HBO series. A more than deserved recognition for on-demand content, especially now that HBO has learned its lesson and is starting to offer its content in countries like Spain. In case you had any doubts after our comparison between Netflix and HBO.

They could not miss WestworldStranger Things in the list of nominees for best drama series, and it is not the only one, and in this category for example, we only found This Is Us from NBC as a series that is not broadcast on an on-demand content service like HBO or Netflix. It continues like this, until as we have said, seven out of ten places in the Golden Globes between Amazon, HBO and Netflix. We have no doubts that on-demand content is the future, and these types of awards prove us right.

At the height of the biggest blockbusters we find series like Westworld, with a cast out of the ordinary. On the other hand, we find Christian Slater as a nominee for best supporting actor for Mr.Robot, and is that the role of crazy does it so well that it seems, just as Lena Headey appears as nominated for best supporting actress for Game de ThronesIn short, these productions are increasingly of higher quality and the public is responding, the series are already an important part of our lives.
