Kodak's new smartphone is now available in Europe

The North American firm Kodak has always been a reference in the world of photography together with Polaroid, and although it is not currently going through its best moments, the company continues to be a reference in the world of cinema, since it is the main supplier of films in which they are filmed. Last October, the company launched its second smartphone on the market, a terminal where the camera of the same stands out, a camera with optical stabilization with which you want to get fully into the world of telephony, since the compact market has long ceased to be profitable.

This terminal is characterized by the hump that it incorporates on the back, due to the camera it incorporates and the old-fashioned grip of the most professional cameras. The rear of the terminal It is made of black so that together with the handle it will be easier to grip and thus be able to prevent it from slipping on our hands, especially when our hands are wet.

The Kodak Ektra is characterized by the manual controls it offers us, as if it were a DSLR camera, but saving distances. Kodak's idea has been to launch a terminal that gives us the feeling of having a quality camera that can also serve as a smartphone, although the limitations of the lens may not be what many users are looking for, such as possibility of making optical zoom or exchanging lenses.

Kokak Ektra Specifications

Kodak's second smartphone, called Ektra, integrates a five-inch screen with Full HD resolution. In the back we find a 21 mpx camera with optical stabilizer and a 13 mpx camera on the front. The rear camera allows us to record videos in 4k quality. Inside the Kodak Ektra we find the Mediatek Helio X20 processor, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD cards) and a 3.000 mAh battery. The Android version that we find in this terminal is 6.0.1, a version that should be updated to version 7.X.

At the moment the Kodak Ektra is available in Amazon Germany for 499 euros, but according to GSMArena, it will soon be available in different Amazon stores in European countries.
