New monitor from AOC and Porsche 'eliminates' cables

A few years ago, the only device we were dealing with was full of cables to power the monitor, to give it a signal, to connect the speakers, the printer cable, the cable to power the speakers and the printer ... the cable of the mouse and keyboard .... Over time we have been able to see how wireless technology has allowed us to significantly reduce the number of cables even what is practically necessary. But not only in computers but also in smartphones, where we can find models that can be recharged by induction without having to connect the cable to the device. Still they are still cables and cables and more cables.

The firm AOC has designed in collaboration with Porsche a monitor where the cables have disappeared from view, they are unfortunately still present. This monitor offers us a curious base to hold the monitor, a base in which the hidden cables are found with a connection at the end of the base and thus be able to have a workspace as clean as possible. But this monitor not only stands out for this aesthetic detail, which can be very important for some users, but also offers us a screen with the frames reduced to the maximum.

As a result of this Joint Venture, we found two models of 24 (PSD 241) and 27 inches (PSD 271) with a somewhat short resolution for current needs, 1920 x 1080, in 16: 9 format and IPS screen. The brightness is 250 cd / m2, it has a response time of 4 ms, a contrast of 100: 1, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and it only offers us an HDMI version 1.4 input. The prices of both models They amount to 264 euros for the 24-inch model and up to 345 euros for the 27-inch model, and are available on Amazon Spain.

Although it is true that with the benefits they offer us they are not as cheap as they could be, the design that it offers us is really spectacular and that must be taken into account when buying a monitor with which we are going to spend many hours ahead.
