Today was the day that many of us had marked on the calendar since Xiaomi had summoned the media to an event, where the main protagonist was the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2, the second version of the revolutionary frameless smartphone, whose first version captivated a huge number of users and surpassed all the expectations of the Chinese manufacturer.
This Mi MIX 2 has not left everyone with their mouths open, since we all knew that the screen would have practically no edges and that the specifications would be outstanding, but even with everything it has managed to surprise by the new features incorporated and especially because many we fear that it will be able to stand up to any of the flagships that are currently available on the market and those that are yet to come.

Without a doubt, and in view of these characteristics and specifications, we can realize that we are facing a terminal that will become a direct part of the so-called high-end market. Perhaps the only negative aspect of this Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is its operating system, and that is that we find Android 7.1 Nougat, when the new Android 8.0 Oreo is available on the market for a few days, although perhaps the Chinese manufacturer You may have thought that it is better to go slowly and not take risks with the new version of Google's operating system, for which at the moment there is no updated version of MIUI.

The screen is once again the great attraction
Without a doubt, the most striking thing about the Xiaomi Mi MIX was its huge screen, with hardly any frames and as it could not be in this second version of the Chinese manufacturer's smartphone, the screen is once again the great attraction. The 5.99-inch screen has IPS technology and occupies almost the entire front, reducing the frames with respect to the first version and making the total size of the device smaller than that of its predecessor.
In addition, now the corners have a much more pronounced curvature that gives it a more fluid and comfortable image, also giving a feeling of greater resistance to, for example, a fall or a blow.
The camera, without being double, will have a lot to say
One of the most striking things about this new Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 is that its camera is not double, following the trend of the majority of so-called high-end terminals that reach the market. This in principle is a clear disadvantage, but the main camera has such quality that we fear that it will have a lot to say.
As confirmed by the Chinese manufacturer, the rear camera mounts a 386 megapixel Sony IMX 12 sensor with optical stabilization and a pixel size of 1.25 µm. Everything indicates, although at the moment it is not confirmed that the camera of this Mi MIX 2 is the same that we could already see and enjoy in the Xiaomi Mi6.

At the moment Xiaomi has not confirmed a specific date for the arrival on the market of this new Mi MIX 2, but the prices with which it will reach the Chinese market have been announced;
