On July 21, Nintendo will launch the Nintendo Switch Online application

In recent years, the Japanese firm has not been characterized by adopting with open arms the boom in which not only smartphones have become, but also their respective application stores, where we can find a large number of games for practically all ages and tastes.

It wasn't until last year that Nintendo understood that mobile apps and games was the future and that was when it began to offer versions of its most popular games in the app stores with greater or less success.

The launch of the Nintendo Switch caused a lot of excitement among users but it came to the market with a very big flaw and that is that it does not allow communication with other players in collaborative games through the console itself, as if we can do with the Xbox or PlayStation. For now to solve this little big problem, the company will launch the Nintendo Switch Online application on July 21.

The Nintendo Switch Online application will allow us through our smartphone to invite players, send voice messages, access the rankings, see global scores ... everything what in theory the Nintendo Swifth should do natively.

And why now?

The guys at Nintendo take it easy and apparently they intend to offer this option natively in the future that does not force us to use the smartphone. But the same day that this communication application with other users is launched, Nintendo puts Splatoon 2 on sale, a game in which this type of access and communication with other users is essential.

Splatoon 2 is a third person shootter and with which we will be able to play online with other people and to do so we will have to make use of this new communication application via mobile, at least until Nintendo bothers to offer it natively through the console.
