Nintendo had something up its sleeve for today. I had been working on a new concept for some time to give the smallest members of the household a little more prominence. And they have come up with the idea of Nintendo Labo. This new project, which will be available from April this year, leads to a new dimension the interaction with the most popular video game console in recent months: Nintendo Switch.
Nintendo Labo was born as a new generation of interactive games. Although many thought that Nintendo's announcement would be focused on Augmented Reality or Virtual Reality, they were all very wrong. Nintendo wants to surprise young and old. And the best that you can giving a child the possibility of building his own toys. And if we add that these toys can work perfectly with the Nintendo Switch, then much better.
As you can see in the video presentation, Nintendo Labo is based on the DIY concept (Do It Yourself or Do the same). And to make everything much more practical and easy to handle, cardboard will be the main protagonist of this latest movement of the Japanese.
Starting next April, users will be able to get hold of cardboard plates on which figures will be printed —in the purest cut-out style— that you will later have to assemble for create small pieces named Toy-Con. This is where the child will begin to enjoy. In the first assembly kits you will be able to create a piano, a motorcycle, a fishing rod or even robots that you can control, always, through the Nintendo Switch.
This new concept has caught more than one off guard, although we predict it a great success in the market: it is really a great claim for the little ones. And therefore, the sales of the Nintendo Switch are sure to increase with this announcement - without the Switch it is not possible to operate Nintendo Labo. The April 27To be more exact, it will arrive in Spain. And it will do so with two sales packages that differ in the Variety Kit priced at $ 69,99. While the second package -Robot Kit- will be released at a price of $ 79,99.
