Nokia takes Apple to court for making use of 32 patents of the Finnish company

Smartphones

In the years that followed the launch of the first iPhone, and which was called the era of the smartphone, with which I do not agree at all, Apple began to sue all companies, especially Samsung, for right and left. supposedly copy both the design and operation of the iPhone, something that over time and has taken away the reason for the Cupertino guys, as we saw a few months ago when the legal battle between the two companies again failed against Apple.

In the last few years, many have been the companies that have denounced Apple for making use of patents on its terminals, be it the iPhone or the iPad. Ericsson has been one of the last to beat the apple giant but he will not be the only one, if we don't count the patent trolls. Nokia, the company that reigned in the world of telephony for many years, has just filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against Apple in the United States and Germany for making use of 32 patents without having previously gone through the box. It seems that the dispute between the two companies to try to reach a satisfactory agreement for both, the firm Nokia has had no choice but to sue.

Being one of the pioneers in the world of technology, Nokia has contributed to developing many of the technologies that are currently used in mobile telephony, as has Ericsson. Among the patents Nokia cites, we find those that are related to user interface, video coding, wireless connectivity chips, communication antennas… When many patents are filed in the same lawsuit, the process can take several years, as happened with the process between Samsung and Apple, which ended 6 years later.
