Nokia continues with its plans and announced the possible purchase of Unium, this is a software company specialized in wireless networks for use in homes through Wi-Fi connectivity. In this case, the coverage and performance of home networks and the purchase of Unium could be closed during the same first quarter of 2018.
This will improve connectivity in homes and, above all, what stands out in this regard, the connected home or the smart home. In addition, Guillén himself explained to the media that the solution for connectivity in homes is to focus on these technologies and therefore the Nokia showed interest in buying Unium. Both are expected to start their smart home rollout, which is why the stronger the home Wi-Fi network the better. Unium software is intelligent and adapts to the needs and specific performance for each device we have at home, thus optimizing connections offering a better experience for each user.
