The new Nook GlowLight 3 arrives with electronic ink screen

And it is that the NooK family of electronic books from Barnes & Noble, had not surprised reading lovers for a long time with a new model since the GlowLight Plus was launched in 2015 and now this new Nook has just been launched. It is the Nook GlowLight 3 and it is completely redesigned to meet the demands of reading lovers, among the most prominent changes we mention the new electronic ink / electronic paper display.

It certainly has nothing to do with the previous model in the range and in this case have a 6 inch with 300 ppi and that it arrives fully covered to avoid reflections, an autonomy of more than 50 days for each full battery charge and obviously a / b / g / n WiFi connection, which allows downloading of books from the network.

What we mention and highlight about this new Nook is the screen. In this case we once again have a screen that is not LCD and electronic ink is its strength again, in addition to this screen it adds a rubber frame with rounded bezels, it has a microUSB connector for recharging, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity, nor does it have a 3,5 mm jack for headphones and adds some changes regarding the location of the buttons. Regarding these buttons we have to highlight that there is no start button in this new version of the Nook. The autonomy is really good and as we say it is able to last almost two months without needing to be shit.

Physically it is something different and the company focuses directly on the screen when we talk about changes over the previous version, having a night mode that adds that orange tone to protect our eyes makes it a good companion for long readings. the pre-sale is already open in the Barnes & Noble website.
