When Sony announced goodbye to the Z range, many of us feared the worst. Sony's Z range was launching some really good terminals with characteristics and benefits far superior to the competition, but if the market did not respond, logically the Japanese firm had to rethink this range to abandon it completely after the launch of the Xperia Z5. Sony began to focus on the X range, a range, we could consider medium, for all the public, not restricted to the high range. The Japanese company has presented, at the IFA in Berlin, its high-end terminal located between the X range and the defunct Z range, we are talking about the Sony Xperia XZ.
Looking at the characteristics of this new terminal, we could say that this new terminal it could well have been called Xperia Z6As it offers many of the features that the Xperia Z5 brought us, but improved over time. What we do not quite like is that it will hit the market next October with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, something incongruous when Android 7.0 Nougar is already available on the market, but knowing the issue of manufacturers' updates, it is logical that it would arrive with this version. Logically with the passage of weeks, or even months, Sony will roll out the update for the latest version of Android available.
