The Nvidia Jetson TX2 is still an evolution of this model.
As for the new features, note that this new version literally doubles the TX1 in power while, with 7,5W of power it can perform the same tasks as the previous model running at 10W. As a detail, tell you that, working at 15W it is capable of doubling its performance and all this with a size of only 86 x 40 mm.
At the hardware level, in a space similar to a card, we find a Gigabit Ethernet port, WiFi and Bluetooth connection, 8 GB of RAM memory, 32 GB of memory in eMMC format and even a 64-bit quad-core processor and with a 256-core Pascal GPU, enough to work with 4K videos at 30 fps or manage up to 6 cameras at the same time.
