NVIDIA TITAN V, 'the most powerful PC GPU ever created'

NVIDIA TITAN V GPU

This is not the first time that NVIDIA has released the world's most powerful PC graphics card. And he does it again with his new release: NVIDIA TITAN V, a dedicated GPU focused on artificial intelligence and to intensive computing. Although, of course, if you have more than 3.000 euros in your pocket and you can afford it, of course you can handle video games like nobody else.

NVIDIA's new TITAN V is the latest graphics card from the company. The presentation is based on the motto: "The Most Powerful PC GPU Ever Made". Also, this motto is not new to the company and it seems that creative ideas escape a little with each new presentation.

On the other hand, in the more technical part, the NVIDIA TITAN V is based on the NVIDIA Volta supercomputer architecture. The first GPU to come with this integrated platform is the Tesla V100. Of course, this model amounted to more than 10.000 euros. However, they do share technical data: 640 Tensor cores; 5.120 CUDA cores, 21 million transistors, expanded 3D memory (12GB HBM2 memory), and 110 teraFLOPS for deep learning.

On the other hand, it must be taken into account that the NVIDIA Volta platform multiplied by five the performance compared to the previous NVIDIA Pascal. However, this does not stop here as the company is already working on the successor that will arrive in late 2018 or early 2019. It is known for NVIDIA amps.

Meanwhile, the price of this NVIDIA TITAN V amounts to 3.100 euros here in Spain. A price that of course - and as we have already mentioned - is not intended for the conventional user or the gamer —Not even the heavy user. These products are focused on researchers and developers. You just have to know that NVIDIA is already betting heavily on the autonomous car.
