Outlook.com integrates with Google Drive and Facebook

Outlook

Outlook is the most popular email management application, however, the one that has grown the most in recent years in terms of functionalities is the web version of Outlook, not because it exceeds its application version, something that probably it never happens, but because it is gradually becoming a real alternative to it, offering capabilities and efficiency that Microsoft could take advantage of. In its latest update, Outlook.com allows Google Drive and Facebook integration to facilitate us according to what tasks in the use of our email.

In this way, Microsoft confirms the integration of Facebook Photos and Google Drive in its online email management system. Now Google Drive is part of the cloud storages menu. We simply have to add our Google Drive account to Outlook, for which we will find a specific button, which in turn will allow us to embed the content of the Google cloud in the message. When we select Google Drive in the function to attach files, it will allow us to log into the Google Drive system if we have not done so, and it will open the typical browser.

On the other hand, Facebook Photos will also allow us to better manage our photos and embed them directly in emails. It is not the only novelty, the users of the Office 365 subscription will also receive a new function to organize the chains of emails, a list in which we will see more details of all the emails in the same conversation. This integration is in addition to that of Google Doc, Slide and Sheet, apart from the traditional Microsoft cloud, which is none other than OneDrive. It is a novelty worth mentioning, as Outlook.com is becoming more functional and begins to seriously stand up to Gmail.

Note: These functions will be deployed in a staggered manner, not yet available in Outlook.com in Spanish.
