PC sales fall for the fifth year in a row

That the PC market is in a continued decline that is probably already irreversible is something that we have been predicting for a long time in Actualidad Gadget. And it is a product that has been strongly affected by changes at all levels, especially in the concept of portability, since people are less and less satisfied with a laptop, they want something more. That has made convertibles and full-operating system tablets dominate the PC market that has fallen for the fifth year in a row. The polls and statistics are clear, the PC is slowly dying.

And it is so, PCs are falling without stopping, they have been relegated to the realm of people who like me, work with the computer. In fact, personal experience has made me study with the tablet and take the PC only to work.

In more detailed aspects, Lenovo is leading the market lately due to the quality of their devices and the price content that they usually offer. They are followed by HP and Dell respectively, the latter being the only one that during the past year 2016 has grown in a real way, the others do nothing but lose customers year after year, month after month. Among the first six we also find Apple, Acer and Asus.

In short, we find ourselves in this statistic elaborated by Business InsiderThe report of Statista tablets or Chromebooks for obvious reasons. Definitely, sales of personal computers continue to decline while convertibles (tablet and PC at the same time) earn more market due to its profits. However, we must be honest, certain tasks are not done as well on a portable device as on a PC or laptop, therefore, there will always be room for the PC in the professional sector.
