Surely, if you are one of those who like to illustrate your writings, presentations, covers, etc. with images, you have surely fallen on Pixabay on some occasion. This portal is one of the largest repositories of free and royalty-free images in the world. And since they know that its use is spreading more and more, they have decided to launch two tools to facilitate its use in applications such as Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
The truth is that although Pixabay is a large bank of free images, it is no less true that having to search for the images that interest us, select it, download it, retouch its size and upload it where we are interested, makes us waste time. Pixabay knows this and that is why has wanted to launch two completely free tools for two popular programs in the computer world: Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
In the first case, it is a complement for Adobe Photoshop that will facilitate the search for images and add them to our projects much easier and faster. Meanwhile, in the case of Microsoft Office we also talk about a extension. Its purpose? The same as in the previous case: save time and more integration with the office automation tool par excellence.
In the latter case, Pixabay announces that the tool they have launched is compatible with the following applications in their suite: PowerPoint 2013 SP1 +, PowerPoint 2016+, PowerPoint 2016 for Mac, PowerPoint Online, Word 2013 SP1 +, Word 2016+, Word 2016 for Mac, Word Online.
Finally, tell you that in none of the cases will advertising be shown to the user and that both functions have been selected in the last «Pixabay's Developer Challenge 2017». And while the extension for Adobe Photoshop has been the work of the Portuguese Lucas Rodrigues. Meanwhile, the tool for Microsoft Office has been the idea of the British Daniel Kis-Nagy.
