Acer leaves us with more news in its presentation at IFA 2019. The company has presented its new gaming laptop, within its family of Predator devices. Predator Triton 300
This Predator Triton 300 is the newest model in the Triton range, which has Windows 10 as its operating system. It is a model that knows how to perfectly combine performance and functionalities with a slim, interesting and very attractive design. It weighs just 2.3 kg, which makes it much lighter compared to other models on the market today. As usual in this range, it comes in a dimmed matte black finish with blue accents and lighting.
The screen of this new Acer gaming laptop has a size of 15,6 inches. It is a screen with Full HD resolution, made with an IPS panel. It offers us a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a response time of 3 ms, so that we are going to get the best possible experience when playing with it.
This model makes use of a 7th generation Intel Core i9 processor inside, which is paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 GPU and 16GB of 4Hz DDR2666 memory (expandable to 32GB). In order for users to have the maximum available storage space in it, Acer confirms that this Predator Triton 300 offers support for up to two 1 TB PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 and up to a 2 TB hard drive. Also, it is confirmed that Killer Wi-Fi 6 AX 1650 has been integrated along with Killer Ethernet in it.
For the audio, the company has made use of Waves Nx. On the other hand, laptop keyboard features RGB lighting by areas and dedicated Turbo and Predator Sense keys, two essential elements in gaming notebooks today. The brand has wanted to maintain in the same the superior thermal design found in all laptops within the Predator range. This also includes dual fans with Acer's 3th generation AeroBlade 4D metal fan technology, CoolBoost technology, and strategically placed air intake and exhaust vents.
Predator Triton 500 is now available
This Predator Triton 300 is not the only novelty in this range. Acer has also presented at this event at IFA 2019 the Predator Triton 500, another model in this same range of gaming laptops. It is presented as another powerful model, with good performance, but that is light and thin. In this case is just 17,9mm thick and its weight is 2.1 kg. It makes your transport very comfortable at all times.
This Acer model has a renewed screen. It makes use of a 15,6-inch Full HD screen, which boasts a stunning 300Hz refresh rate. It is designed with an all-metal chassis with narrow bezels of just 6,3mm to deliver an impressive 81% chassis-to-screen ratio. For the processor, it uses a 7th generation Intel Core i9, so that it will give us great power at all times, allowing it to be a powerful gaming laptop.
Price and launch
Acer has confirmed that these two new gaming laptops will officially go on sale this fall worldwide. For those interested in purchasing the Predator Triton 300, it has been announced that it will be available from October at a price of 1.299 euros. On the other hand, those who want to buy the Acer Predator Triton 500 will have to wait until November, when it will arrive with a price of 2.699 euros
