Free PS Plus games to leave PS3 and PS Vita next year

Sony's platform for free video games and subscription services for PlaySation is experiencing one of its best moments, it has almost forty million active users who pay to play online among other things, at the same time that they enjoy a series of free games for PS4, Ps3 and PS Vita monthly.

However, older PlayStation platforms will say goodbye to free PS Plus games starting in March next year. We were clear that this day was coming, what we did not know for sure is when they were going to announce it.

This does not mean that those games that we have downloaded will disappear, far from it, all the games that we already have downloaded to our game consoles or recorded in the content library will remain there forever. But do not put the cry in the sky, and it is that as we have said lines back, we are still going to enjoy a whole year of free games more for both platforms, both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, more specifically until March 8, 2019. Be that as it may, it was logical that these platforms began to be "abandoned" little by little.

We also take the opportunity to remember which are the games launched with the service for the month of March 2018, the "best in the history of the service" since it was launched in 2010 according to Sony itself.

  • Legend of Kay (PS3)
  • Mighty No. 9, PS3 (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Claire: Extended Cut, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Bombing Busters, PS Vita (Cross Buy with PS4)
  • Bloodborne GOTY (PS4)
  • Ratchet & Clank (PS4)

Be that as it may, it is time to say goodbye to the past, look ahead and support the new generations of video consoles that are to come. Maybe it's something like a wink from the future.
