5 reasons why you shouldn't pay to play Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run

Last December 15 Super Mario Run officially arrived on the App Store, unleashing the madness around the world, which has resulted in millions of downloads, and making the new Nintendo game for mobile devices one of the most downloaded in the history of the official store of Apple applications. In the version that any user can download we can play and enjoy in the first worlds, but to continue enjoying we will have to go to the checkout and spend a few euros.

9.95 are the euros that we will have to pay if we want to have full access to Super Mario Run, something that most users have not done. And is that according to some figures released unofficially, only 4% of players have paid for the game of the popular plumber. For us the Nintendo game is not very worth it, but we are going to argue it with 5 reasons why you should not pay to play Super Mario Run.

It is a simple and simple game

Super Mario Run

All or almost all of us expected that Super Mario Run would be a game similar to those that once triumphed without palliative on the NES or the legendary Super Nintendo, but unfortunately it looks very little like those games. And is that Nintendo's new game allows very few user options. Mario just runs without stopping and despite the good graphics and the much color, paying almost 10 euros to hit the screen so that the character jumps, is too simple and simple for almost any player.

I wish Nintendo had developed a game where we could handle Mario at will, but unfortunately Super Mario Run is what it is, and paying 10 euros to squeeze the screen is undoubtedly too much money for any pocket.

Six different worlds or what is the same, limited fun

Super Mario Run consists of 6 different worlds in which we will find different levels. If we do a simple mathematical operation we will be paying 1.6 euros for each of the worlds. Not all worlds are as simple as those offered for free, but for anyone used to these types of games, you won't find too much difficulty in finishing the full game in no time.

If you pay 9.95 euros for a game, the least you can hope for is that the fun is going to be long-lasting. With Super Mario Run the fun is very limited although we also have different actions available in our kingdom or races in which to compete with other users.

Paying will not free you from always being connected to the Internet

Super Mario Run

Super Mario Run requires all users to be connected to the network of networks in order to play. Paying the price that the full game is worth will not get rid of this either, something that could be tempting for many users, but unfortunately it is not a reality.

Paying offers us the possibility to fully enjoy the game, but does not free us from having to be permanently connected to the network of networks, something that for example will prevent us from playing in certain places, even though we have spent a few euros.

There will be no more content for Super Mario Run

From the day that Super Mario Run was released on the market, a lot of rumors began to circulate on the Internet that Nintendo could add new content to its new game and also offer users new worlds full of fun. Unfortunately this possibility has quickly vanished and it is that today A spokesman for the Japanese company has confirmed that there will be no new content for the popular Mario Bros game.

It also seems more than clear that there will be no new worlds or additional content for Super Mario Run, so as we have already said, the fun is limited to what we can access right now from our device with the iOS operating system.

There are other cheaper and even free games

I don't think it will surprise anyone if I tell you that both the App Store and Google Play are full of interesting games available with which you can have fun for weeks. Many of these games are cheaper than Super Mario Run and some of them are even free.

I'm not going to give examples because I could throw myself all day, but after playing Super Mario Run for a while I found that I have more fun playing some free games, which I already had installed on my iPhone, than with the new game from Nintendo.

Opinion freely; I have paid and I was wrong

Super Mario Run

The same day that Super Mario Run arrived at the App Store I paid the 9.95 euros that the complete game is worth, more for work reasons and to be able to tell in detail everything that the game hides, than for a personal decision after having tried the game demo.

A few days later, Super Mario Run only takes place on my iPhone, since it makes me sad to delete the icon of the application that is really nice, and it is that I have not played for some day now. Currently, as much as the Mario Bros character may attract my attention, it is not fun for me to run without stopping and just have to press the screen to avoid obstacles or eliminate enemies.

I have lost 9.95 euros, but thanks to this I have been able to write this article and also give you an opinion based on other articles on Super Mario Run, a successful Nintendo game in terms of downloads, but which is far from being profitable since amount of euros that it is worth, it is not worth buying.

The truth is that paying € 10 for the current content of the game seems too much, and more if they do not intend to update it with more worlds ... For € 4 it may be worth it but 10 not crazy

In a few days you can easily spend it, and 10 euros is 10 euros ...

Any game, and even more so for payment, has to keep the buyer entertained with updates ... and if paying 9'95 you are not going to give more than that truño that they do not launch anything.
I tried it and I got a "what the hell have you done with Mario .."

It is to install it and everyone is stopped. For little more you buy a NES Classic and the games are many years old, but they have not lost their essence and fun.
