Robot Project is suspended until further notice for not being smart enough

Robot Project

Although every time we talk about an artificial intelligence system we practically do it about a case of notable success, the truth is that there are many other projects, such as the case of Robot Project, which unfortunately did not come to fruition despite the fact that the expectations placed on it, after several years of hard work and effort, were really high.

If we remember, more or less in mid-2011 the Robot Project was born, a project that sought to develop a new artificial intelligence system that was able to pass the entrance exam to Japanese universities. After several years of work, the system finally faced this access test in 2015 where it achieved a score of 511 950 on. This score placed this new artificial intelligence platform above the average, which earned it a place in one of the 474 universities in the country.

Robot Project is suspended indefinitely for lack of intelligence.

Once at this point, those responsible for the project decided to go further, they literally had the idea of re-presenting the Robot Project to the entrance test to achieve better results so that it could get a place at the University of Tokyo, literally considered the best educational institution in the country. Unfortunately and after a year of hard training the test results were exactly the same, that is, 511 points out of 950 possible.

Due to this and despite the fact that the objective was that in 2022 this artificial intelligence system could access the University of Tokyo and train as another student, now those in charge of the project, after not being able to get the Robot Project to evolve in one year Due to problems related to their inability to respond under broad-spectrum meanings, they believe that the time has come to suspend the project, at least until a way is found in which the whole system can evolve.
