Samsung has launched this type of memory card on the market focused on three types of users or recording equipment: surveillance and security cameras, action cameras and dashcams (cameras installed on board vehicles). What do they all have in common? That they are teams that are recording video continuously and this can affect the useful life of the media we use.
The Samsung PRO Endurance promises up to 43.800 hours of continuous video recording. Of course, this figure is in Full HD resolution, although it is also commented - without giving figures - that they also support the recording of videos in 4K resolution. On the other hand, Samsung PRO Endurance will be available in 3 capacities: 32, 64 and 128 GB.
All of them will offer a read speed of up to 100MB / s and a write rate of up to 30MB / s. Meanwhile, Samsung has also offered exact data of the continuous hours that you can use each version of these cards:
- 32 GB: up to 17.520 hours
- 64 GB: 26.200 hours
- 128 GB: 43.800 hours
On the other hand, the Samsung PRO Endurance not only are cards in SD format resistant in their performance, but also they are physically resistant. As the company tells us in the press release, These cards are capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, water, magnetic fields, and X-rays. So they are also a very safe option and capable of retaining all the information even if you encounter adversities along the way — especially if we talk about action cameras. Finally, the price of each version is 37,99 euros (32 GB); 71,99 euros (64 GB) and 134,99 euros (128 GB).
