"Swipe to Unlock" will not be available on iOS 10 devices

iOS 10

The public beta version of iOS 10 It has been available for a few days so that almost any user can try it. This is not recommended at all since it still has many bugs, some of which make it very difficult to use an Apple device with the new version of the Cupertino operating system.

Since I've been using my iPhone with iOS 10 one of the things that I have missed the most is the possibility of unlocking the screen through the "slide to unlock" option, which had been present in Apple devices since 2007. Unfortunately, we will never have it available to unlock our iPhone or iPad.

And it is that in the last hours it has been confirmed that it is not a question of the beta versions of iOS 10, but that in the final version we will find a lock screen with many more options and full of new functions. Among them will be to be able to read the notifications and even interact with them without unlocking the terminal.

Unfortunately the only way to unlock an iOS 10 device will be by pressing the Home button, to either unlock the device through our fingerprint or the unlock code.

The lock screen has become one of the most important in iOS 10 and Apple seems to be unwilling to let us stop seeing it every time we turn on the device. Of course, we will have to hope that this seems to users, as in my case we were so used to unlocking our iPhone in a simpler way.

Do you think Apple removed the option to "slide to unlock" in iOS 10?.
