The French firm Withings, which last April became part of the Finnish Nokia, has just launched within the framework of the IFA that is being held in Berlin until September 7, a new smartwatch model to complete the range of such "different" devices on the market. All the models of this firm are based on minimalist and simple designs just like the household products that this French manufacturer has always designed. The Steel HR is a traditional analog watch, but it also integrates a digital screen where the information from our smartphone is displayed as well as the progress we make in our daily exercise.

The new Steel HR automatically recognizes the type of exercise we are doing be it walking, running, swimming or simply sleeping, as the Steel HR not only allows us to quantify the exercise we do, but also allows us to monitor the hours of sleep and rest through the device and the manufacturer-specific application.

In the digital screen that we find in the upper part of this device, we can find our heart rate, the steps taken throughout the day, the distance traveled and the calories burned. All the information that the watch collects, automatically transferred to the Withings Health Mate app, which is available for both iOS and Android.

But it also notifies us if we receive a call, receive a message, have an appointment on our calendar, the alarm, the date and the battery level of the device, which according to the manufacturer offers us an autonomy of 25 days. It will hit the market in November and will be available in two dial sizes: 36 and 40mm, with black or white dial colors. The Withing Steel HR with 36mm dial will be available for 180 euros, while the 40mm model will go up to 200 euros.
