Both upper and lower are digital, reducing latency, in addition, the upper trigger has a fairly short and effective pulsation effect, although in practice, it is precisely with this functionality that I have been able to find the least difference, The trigger seems more relevant to me.

Interchangeable joysticks

Joysticks are also a determining factor, the usual thing is to replace those of the DualShock 4 that do not have a reputation for being too good, in fact, the first generation had significant wear problems.
