Taylor Swift backs down and returns with her music to Spotify

Taylor Swift Recula and returns with her music to Spotify

After several years of no relationships, the popular singer Taylor Swift, who pulled his music from Spotify on the grounds that his free plan undervalued artists' work, and the music streaming service, have made peace. And not just done.

As Taylor Swift's own management team confirmed through a message on Twitter, all the singer's music is available for "all streaming services" which includes, in addition to Spotify, other platforms where it has been absent such as Tidal or Amazon Music.

According to published The medium Recode, undisclosed sources have claimed that the music star and the music streaming service have reached an agreement according to which all Spotify users will be able to listen to all their songs, both in the free and paid versions.

Taylor Swift returns to Spotify

Taylor Swift is one of the biggest musical stars of the moment and, therefore, one of the highest earners; and Spotify is the world's largest music streaming service, with more than 50 million subscribers and at least another 50 million using the free (in exchange for advertising) version of the service. And as we said, this free option was the origin of the dispute between Swift and Spotify.

In 2014, Swift told the Wall Street Journal that "Valuable things must be paid for." Soon after, he removed  his Spotify album "1989" followed by the rest of his music, and it hasn't been available since.

A year later he entered controversy with Apple Music bring the payments of this service to the artists; The singer did not like the three-month free period offered by the bitten apple service to new users and for which the artists would not charge either, although it is true that, from that moment on, the percentage paid for Apple Music was slightly larger than that paid by Spotify. Finally, Apple Music and Taylor Swift reached an agreement: the artists would charge during the first three months of Apple Music trial, so the singer's music was included in this catalog. This agreement also included some promotional events by Swift, such as that ad in which, despite falling flat on the treadmill, she could not stop singing.

Why Swift now doesn't like Spotify's free plan is a mystery, isn't it? As the saying goes, "a powerful gentleman is a gift of money."
