The distribution of Android 7.0 is being a real disaster

Android 7

Google has just published its operating system expansion data, and the outlook is becoming increasingly bleak. Although everything indicated that Google would begin to put measures to solve the irregular distribution of its operating system, we find a ridiculous integration of Android 7.0 Nougat in the devices, and that is only 0,4% of Android devices on the market are running the latest version of Google's operating system, which implies a clear lack of levels and security measures. Thus, cases of adware and personal data theft through Android software are increasing.

Basically this 0,4% of Android 7.0 Nougat devices is represented by Nexys devices and some cooked ROMs that users are rushing to install on supported devices. However, Android KitKat and Android Lollipop, with 24% and 23,2% respectively, are the predominant versions of the operating system, just behind Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a not inconsiderable 26,3%.

As we say, everything was considered quite exciting, considering that Android 6.0 has been very well received if we take into account the rest of the company's operating systems. But Android 7.0 seems to have stalled to unsuspected limits, underrepresented in less than 1% of mobile devices running Android.

We emphasize that operating systems are not all functionalities, security is the main standard in recent years, and in that, Android is disappointing. We could blame the mobile fleet, it is true that low-cost devices are increasingly predominant in Android, but an immense part of the fault lies with the companies, even Samsung refuses to update devices, not alleging logical reasons, rejecting the investment in their software division beyond the adware they include on all their devices. Once again, it is the phone companies and electronics companies that are holding back the advance of Android.
